EDITOR'S LETTER
The Science of Nourishing Well

We spend considerable time thinking about what we eat, yet far less time considering what happens after that first bite. How does food influence the trillions of microorganisms living within us? What does our gut have to do with inflammation, immunity, or the way we age? And how much of our long-term health is shaped by the choices we make at the table?

These are questions I've explored throughout my career in pathology and integrative medicine, and ones I'm bringing to a much larger conversation this November.

From November 7–11, I'll be hosting The Plant-Based Gut Health & Longevity Summit, featuring 31 experts across 44 educational sessions. I'll be leading the conversations, drawing connections between emerging research and clinical practice, and exploring what the science actually tells us about nutrition, cellular health, and longevity.

What I find particularly interesting is where these disciplines intersect. The microbiome cannot be separated from metabolism, nor can nutrition be considered independently of inflammation or immune function. Understanding these relationships changes how we approach our health.

I invite you to join me for five days of thoughtful discussions, fresh perspectives, and the kind of scientific curiosity that has shaped my own work as a physician.

And as you explore this week's CellCare Journal, you'll find that same curiosity woven through our features on amla, plant-based nutrition, a beautifully simple spinach and garlic dish, and women's cellular longevity.

Be Inspired,
