#Cellcare ingredient health benefits
ALMOND BUTTER | HEALTHY FATS AND PROTEIN
Almond butter is a wonderful source of plant-based protein, healthy fats, and fiber. It helps support heart health, improve satiety, and boost energy levels. Rich in vitamins like vitamin E, magnesium, and calcium, almond butter also promotes strong bones and healthy skin. The creamy texture of almond butter gives these protein bars a rich, satisfying flavor.
SPIRULINA | SUPERFOOD FOR ENERGY
Spirulina is a blue-green algae that’s a powerhouse of nutrients, providing an excellent source of protein, vitamins (especially B-vitamins), minerals, and antioxidants. This superfood supports immune function, boosts energy levels, and helps detoxify the body. Spirulina’s natural chlorophyll also aids in alkalizing the body and promoting digestive health.
OATS | FIBER AND SUSTAINED ENERGY
Oats are a rich source of soluble fiber, which helps regulate digestion and maintain steady blood sugar levels. They provide long-lasting energy, making them a perfect base for these protein bars. Additionally, oats are heart-healthy, lower cholesterol, and provide a variety of important vitamins and minerals.
MAPLE SYRUP | NATURAL SWEETENER WITH MINERALS
Maple syrup is a natural sweetener that contains important minerals like manganese, zinc, and calcium. It helps balance blood sugar levels and adds a subtle sweetness to these protein bars without the need for refined sugar. The antioxidants in maple syrup also support the immune system.
WELLKHANA KITCHEN RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 cup almond butter
1/4 cup spirulina powder
1 1/2 cups rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup water (or plant-based milk for a creamier texture)
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare | In a medium bowl, combine the almond butter, spirulina powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
Add Dry Ingredients | Add the oats, chia seeds, and sea salt to the almond butter mixture. Stir until the oats are evenly distributed and the mixture becomes thick.
Add Liquid | Slowly add water (or plant-based milk) to the mixture, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach a dough-like consistency. The mixture should be firm but easy to press together.
Chill | Line a small baking pan (8x8-inch works well) with parchment paper. Transfer the protein bar mixture to the pan and press it down firmly to create an even layer. If you’re adding chocolate chips, sprinkle them on top and gently press them into the bars.
Refrigerate | Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the bars to firm up and set.
Serve | Once chilled, remove the bars from the pan and cut them into squares or bars. Enjoy these nutrient-dense, protein-packed treats as a snack or post-workout boost!
