Ingredients:
1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
½ cup raw almonds or walnuts
¼ cup hemp seeds
¼ cup cacao powder
1 scoop (about 25g) plant-based chocolate or vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon almond butter or tahini
1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed for blending)
Optional Coatings:
Shredded coconut
Crushed freeze-dried berries
Extra cacao powder
Hemp seeds
Instructions:
1. Blend the Base | Add dates, nuts, and hemp seeds to a food processor. Pulse until finely chopped and slightly sticky.
2. Add the Superfoods | Add cacao powder, protein powder, chia seeds, almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla, and sea salt. Blend again until the mixture forms a thick, dough-like consistency. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time if needed.
